Driveways in Stirling
Block paving, monoblock, tarmac and gravel driveways, built on a proper base to handle the traffic and the Scottish weather.
A driveway built from the ground up
Most of a good driveway is out of sight. We excavate to the right depth, lay and compact a solid sub-base, and set the falls and drainage so water runs away rather than pooling.
That groundwork is what stops a driveway sinking, cracking or weeding up a couple of winters down the line.
Choosing your finish
Block paving and monoblock give you the most choice, with different colours, sizes and patterns, and any damaged blocks are easy to lift and replace.
Tarmac is a clean, hard-wearing and cost-effective option that looks especially smart with a block-paved border. Gravel and sandstone driveways are there too when you want a more traditional or natural look.
Made to last, and left tidy
We turn up when we say we will, keep the site as tidy as we can while we work, and clean up properly at the end.
If you are refreshing the patio or garden at the same time, we can quote for it all in one visit, with one accountable team on the job.

Common questions
- Block paving or tarmac, which is better?
- Both are excellent. Block paving gives you more colours, patterns and kerb appeal and is easy to repair. Tarmac is a clean, cost-effective finish that goes down quickly. John will talk you through the pros of each for your driveway.
- How long does a new driveway take?
- It depends on the size and the finish, but John will give you a realistic timescale with your quote so you know what to expect from start to finish.
- Do you sort out the drainage?
- Yes. A driveway is only as good as the base and drainage underneath it, so we prepare the ground properly and make sure water drains away as it should.
- Which areas do you cover for driveways?
- We lay driveways across Stirling, Dunblane, Bridge of Allan, Falkirk, Grangemouth and Clackmannanshire, roughly within 15 miles of Stirling.
